Security Officer
Peace by Piece’s security officer is based at the gate entrance and is responsible for monitoring traffic into and out of school property. To ensure the safety of all teachers, students, and staff, the officer reserves the right to stop any car or person he does not recognize and requires identification. He also has the right to not allow any unknown person or vehicle to enter the property. He maintains contact with the main administration office to inquire regarding the next steps for the visitors in question. The security officer collects passes from students or staff as they leave the campus and sends the passes to the administration at the end of each day.
School Driveways And Parking Areas
The school’s driveway and parking lots should only be used with the utmost caution by parents and guests. For the safety of our kids, the 130th Avenue speed limit shouldn’t be more than 10 mph. Parents who transport their children to and from school should give way to pedestrians. Never let your students cross in between parked cars or buses. Parents are kindly requested to respect the “NO PARKING” zones on the school property; parking is only permitted in the allocated spaces. Parking is not permitted on the grass or in the drop-off and pickup zones.
Safety Patrol to Our Campus
Students from elementary and middle schools will be trained to assist with arrival and dismissal each day. Students, parents, and staff should respect them and follow their directions. The Assistant Principal is responsible for their actions and should be contacted immediately if there is a concern regarding their performance or security.
